Oscillating between normal and blue

Well it seems that the last 2 to 3 months my mood has been changing about every 2 weeks from normal to being down.  I don't think I've really been hypo manic or manic much if any.  I have spent a bit too much money, but nothing unreasonable.  I think it's just been so long since I bought anything I was starved to shop.  I haven't bought ten of this or twelve of that like I do when I get sick.

Let's see.  I saw my new psychiatrist yesterday.  He was good, but he said he didn't want to be my doctor because he felt my case was too sensitive for him to give me good service.  He felt my needs would be better met by Harris county MHMR and said he knew the doctors were good there and thought Brazoria county MHMR could transfer me over.  He also expressed his concerns about the meds I'm on - specifically resperdal causing my prolactin levels to be too high and the risk of breast cancer.  He recommended latuda or zyprexa and said the weight gain was the same as resperdal but the prolactin issue less.  Basically for me to make a med change at this point I will need to be under constant supervision in an outpatient program of some sort.  This is such a hassle.  I'm so terrified of change.  I've already cut my resperdal to 1mg because I'm having muscle cramping problems.  It's the only drug that has consistently worked for me but I don't want cancer in the future and I know this is a serious risk.

I ended it with my TalkSpace therapist.  It was too unstructured for me and the response time lagged.  Also too much of "what do you think" and not enough real advice from her.  She frequently would ask the same things over and over - not remembering what I had texted previously, which I found annoying.  Besides, I save $100 a month.

I filed a small claims suit against my old chiropractor and had him served.  Got my check in the mail from him last Friday.  It turns out he had mailed the check on April 29th and the postal service took a month to get it to me so I didn't need to sue him after all.  Oh well.  Only cost me $116.  Got back over $2000.

Can't think of anything else.  Wish I would stay normal and the "downs" would go away.

I hope you don\'t get too many \'downs\' with this, MMP and that you can get a good pdoc over there in the other county who Understands what you need, who will pay attention and help you with the supervision so you can try a different med...I know that\'s frustrating though. HUGS -
