Note from Life2dot1 - 2016-06-11

I keep a log for at least the daily check- and ToDo- lists, how I slept, etc. and I always note the weather briefly – like: Sunny. 70s-80s.
This morning we got up and left the house at 8:15 to go garage saling.
I noted “Sunny. 70s-80s”.
What I didn't know, but would soon learn, is that when we got home I would add
“above 80F by ~ 9:30.”
It gets hot in a hurry here, I'll say that.
I'm feeling at home here in a special way that I had forgotten about: the chance to grow food. I already have tomatoes, eggplants, cukes, 'Julep' mint (I AM in the south), basil and oregano, all potted up with the terra cotta flower pots that I bought right at a yaahd sale (in Mainah).
I'm starting to see that I can have sun in the morning, (but it's awkward), and I can have about 3 hours of late afternoon, and that's it. Maybe I should put it all in a wagon and just pull 'em halfway around the building twice day... (#ThingsThatMakeYouGoHmmm......)

Love and Light to All,
Blessed Be. xo

All that earthing is sure to be healing. You have me thinking that it\'s never too late to make it for a dash and change our life. Mmmm. How to do it.When I was younger ..so much younger than today. (Remember that old song...just popped into my head) .Anyway I was going to say that when I was young and my situation wasn\'t right, I was such a free spirit, and I would just up and go without a care in the world.Just followed my heart and intuition and desire for happiness. Now I feel stuck and can\'t seem to find a way to change.Of course having this debilitating illness has a lot to do with it.However I\'m so tired of the restrictions from it. I have some good friends down South and I\'m so lonely here.Maybe I will surrender to a wheel chair and move and catch some life before it passes me by. Sorry all that just popped out.Just seeing you up and go with minimal material security inspires me.I want to be brave again.Love and gratitude Jack xo

You ARE brave, Di. Facing every day with this illness takes courage, and persistence.

For me, I just realized that the climate in my beloved Maine was taking a greater toll on my health than I could really afford. It dawned on me that moving south into a warmer climate with LESS WINTER (2 months less, I\'m guessing) might allow me a higher quality of life with less struggle. Since I don\'t expect I\'ll ever recover fully -- though I\'m grateful every day for being as healthy as I am -- I can usually be up doing things for 2-3 hours/day and usually don\'t NEED to nap -- Quality of Life (QoL) is very important to me. I don\'t think loneliness adds to your QoL.
