"Not Ovulating"
I saw my doctor today for my back injury, every two weeks. Talked with him about the fact I haven't had my period since October (it's now February) and it was really regular before. He said it's likely hormonal, but he doesn't want to start treatments until my husband is able to provide a sperm sample for analysis. That's a whole different ballgame in itself. Fun fact, you can't use lube or any other bodily fluid when trying to collect it - which makes it difficult to collect for a paraplegic... We're going to keep trying, but we have to make an appointment at the lab to drop it off, so it's not like we can make it work on a whim and bring it in. Always with the planning. Finger's crossed! We also just ordered an ovulation test kit just to confirm (5 pregnancy tests in 5 months were all negative)...

I had that done once but it was years ago and they told me I had to get it to the lab withing 30 minutes and the lab was about 20 minutes away. Made it just in time and we were told what we expected to be told. Good luck
Oh wow... The problem we have is we typically can't get him to ejaculate without the use of toys because he can't feel anything below the chest... So adding the restricted time frame and required appointment on top of no assisted techniques makes the whole process more complicated.
If you talk to your doctor about the difficulty in getting a sample, He should be able to work something out that will help. I know it's hard for even perfectly healthy men to do it on demand like that or in a doctor's office and I am sure your doctor has run into this problem before. Just share your fears and anxieties with him and I'm sure he can help.
Good luck. I have my fingers crossed for you..
Thanks for the suggestion and support!
