not much is going on

as far as conflict, anyway. things in the relationship feel pretty good. very close. fairly stable. when i think about it, it really seems pretty easy that all i have to do is listen the moment he expresses uncomfortable emotions. and CARE. of course, it's gonna be a little different when the band gets back into motion, or if i join another one because it's apparently not bass player season...
baby steps. this isn't a relationship where i can just do whatever i want whenever i want. cautious care is one of the stipulations in being involved with this volcanic beauty. i must remember that it isn't a relationship i want to be in if i am unhappy, which is why i must lovingly fight for my own self and my own happiness.
things are looking good right now. work is good. health is decent other than my eyes driving me crazy and a pesky almost-cold that lingers and refuses to actually become something full-blown that i can legitimately complain about.
and i'm making beef stew, which is always a sign that life is good.
i think i just have to keep at my routine, though. therapy, DS, journaling. it can't only be for when times are tough. must keep learning, must keep at my goals to be the best woman for my lover and the best person for myself.

Happy to hear that you have things going on an even keel, and want to thank you for the group hug. I can almost smell that beef stew from here.
