new shrubs..........
I went to Home Depot yesterday to look at plants and humidifiers. I left with six sweet broom shrubs. I went there to get azaleas - they were out of red blooming azaleas. Gotta try again, they sell out of things quickly!
The humidifiers I'm told are seasonal, so I will look at them online to compare prices/features. My eye doc wants me to humidify the area where I sleep. So I'm working on it. We had a de-humidifier in the home I grew up in, but I've never looked at humidifiers.......wish me luck!
I had a message from the staff at the hematology office. When I talked to the young lady she said she had been unable to reach any staff/speak to the rheumy. (despite numerous attempts) Based on the two sets of lab reports they had received they see no reason for me to meet with the hematologist at this time.
Please pray with me for a best solution for rheumatology care going forward.
Moving on..........
I'm still in search of great banana yogurt. It's on..........I'm not doing all that great though. So far I returned the carbmaster scary tasting blend from Krogers. And then I got some Greek yogurt.....................it is not tasty. Took a bite, got up and brushed my teeth. Couldn't take the flavor........it was a combo of bad cheese & feet. IF you've ever played any sports and hit a locker room later, you know what I mean.......I used to play basketball and if the shoes or the socks didn't kill you on impact, the feet would................yikes!
Chobani is sending me coupons to buy even more of their products. Yes, free coupons, but how does that help? Their brand is higher priced, one serving has 160 calories and while it is very thick, very creamy, it is not a textural problem. The problem lies with the funky flavor profile.
I will find a solution.........I may be in the banana yogurt loving minority, but other regions offer more banana yogurts........not so much in the south. You can buy banana pudding ice cream thanks to Bluebell (one gallon is now $5.95). Ben & Jerry created Chunky Monkey banana ice cream, now asking a whopping $4.95 per pint. However, ahem, these options are expensive on the pocketbook and the hips. Not saying never, just saying not all the time........as Shakira says "the hips don't lie".......so bring on the right yogurt.
I am determined. Yogurt does great things to keep a tummy calm and happy.
So what is on for today? A few chores, a hot shower and then we'll see. I am tossing the idea around to go to another plant place nearby.........but I'm not sure. I'm having a lot of muscle spasms at present, but the day is still young.
Life is beautiful......my new friend Doyna shared this with me yesterday.......she has a young daughter recently diagnosed with epilepsy. As I was leaving she stood and surprised me with a soft hug......she said we can't lose focus. Life is never perfect......we have to keep seeking hope. And we must remember that life is beautiful.

Life IS beautiful, isn\'t it!!! Hard to not lose focus when everyday presents us with with new and difficult challanges....we falter....but it\'s ok. The Father knows that we are but dust and wants us to stay close to him.
I love your beautificious (?) flowers! I love red flowers....hope you can them!! I hope you can find a humidifier. I know they would be good for your eye condition!!! Google, Google!!! Do they have them at Home Depot? We live at HD. Love that store!!
What about good old Dannon for Yogurt? I ate that for years. Don\'t know if they have banana though.....I hope you find it!! When I met my husband he was addicted to Ben and Jerry\'s. He ate a pint a night! I kid you not. He truely needed a woman to ruin his life. Lucky dude...he got ME! I took the stuff away from him, had his cholesterol checked and he\'s been living on fat free Jello chocolate pudding and frozen yogurt ever since! LOL...we women are just out to spoil their fun he says! PFFFFFFFFFF! (yup, prolly a bit of truth in that statement!)
I think that it\'s a good thing that you don\'t need to see a hematologist right now. That seems to me, to be a good thing!!!
Praying for you, as always. Lovin that you got out to hunt for flowerz!! Wonderful, normal things....make us feel like a part of the world again!!
Your flowering shrubs are beautiful!
I did not know yogurt helps to calm tummies! I must try it. I can always use help in that area.
And that IS a beautiful perspective on life from your friend~~ESPECIALLY in light of her daughter\'s diagnosis, snd all the insanity in the world this week. No matter what~~we must keep looking up, and keep praying, and keep trusting God. He remains in control.
I have a sweet broom bush in a planter at the front of our row house.Beautiful plant, one of my favorites, and hardy as well
Banana yogurt quest is on for you I see....hope you find one that you enjoy. I don\'t think I have seen banana yogurt in the store I shop..hmmm I am going to look next time. Got a BIG laugh at your reading how awful the taste was (of the yogurt)! Definitely a bad taste! Life is Beautiful I agree and so are you Serce. Hugs xo
