New Friend

I made a new friend in my occupational rehabilitation group, he's a lot of fun to hang out with and makes me feel really good about myself. I've been feeling quite depressed recently, having a hard time knowing that only a month ago I was able to hike and play tennis for 2 hours no problem, and now I can barely walk 10 minutes on the treadmill. I want to get back to that. It'll take time. He reminds me that it takes time, and to work at it bit by bit, and he encourages me in the gym. Today we went to the swimming class, and I finally felt confident enough in my own skin to wear a bikini again. It felt good to be comfortable in my own body. I'm really going to miss this program when it's over, I've been really enjoying meeting new people and getting into the gym regularly (literally every day for 3-4 hours). I'm finally getting out of the darkness. Of course, I get home today and my husband seems to have slipped into it. Suddenly he has a dark cloud over his head and I'm seeing how it feels to deal with a moody spouse. He's always so happy and positive, but I think having to limit how much he's in his chair while he heals is really getting to him. Naturally I feel bad, but I don't know how to help... I don't know if my feeling better is somehow making him feel worse.
