Need rest
The downside to a bipolar upswing is you just don's stop regardless of how tired you are the brain just wants to keep going.
Pushed too hard yesterday. Went out to buy a mattress, salesperson had me climbing 5 yes 5 flights of stairs. I was so mad. Got there and the only item of interest was buried, by the time she got help to uncover it I was back downstairs practically passed out on their display furniture.
Working from home today, I know its a day I need to be very still and quiet and let my body rest but am having a hard time sitting still. Pain not so bad today.
I have a new thing, my left knees has been hurting for some time, I assumed its related to the diverticulitis, doc calls it referred pain. But I note the toes on my left foot are getting numb, cool to the touch..insufficient blood flow? Being pre-diabetic I have nightmares about losing a limb. Living with CFS can make us hypochondriac. Trying not to worry so much..
I am grateful that I woke up this morning alert and not in a huge amount of pain. I am grateful for life, for what I am accomplishing with my home, for my job, for my family, for my new friends here on DS. Its a beautiful day, the sun is shining .. passing it on.

i would like to whap that salesperson with my giant nerf people swatter! what the heck!!! that\'s crazy. five flights of STAIRS is just sick.....sick and wrong!
i must be foggy cause i can\'t make the dots connect between diverticulitis and knee pain being related. familiar with referred pain, but this puzzles me. it sounds more like tiny stress fractures or something........but with the numbness then i think stenosis............sorry my never been to medical school degree is showing..........LOL, forgive me...........because you are aware of your health and care you are going to be way more on top of medical things .....and that can be a real positive! i don\'t think you being a hypochon at all, just being aware.
i\'m glad you felt good when you woke up, that is an awesome gift......i know it doesn\'t mean pain free, but a day when you can function more easily and every degree of better we get is so significant as we navigate the day...........we had mega crazy winds today.........colder than Boston, MA today.......our weather was downright wintery for a city in the south!
thanks for passing us some of your beautiful sun!!!!!!!!!! hugs!!! do you celebrate Thanksgiving.......? either way wishing you a day of thanksgiving .....a day we celebrate all we are grateful for!!! night!
Hi Ruthie
I understand our boogie upper crust is now celebrating thanksgiving which is ridiculous to me because it has such a specific reference to US history. Not typically celebrated here but hey, I give thanks every day :-) PS : I miss the changing of the leaves in autumn, used to love the look of the Blue Ridge mountains at this time of year.
