My value system is no longer working

I gambled because my life was about being a type A professional and this was another way to "win."

But the high from any win doesn't last. My life has been all about the destination, never the journey. I don't allow myself to embrace a moment, to pause and appreciate people and circumstances around me, to calm down long enough to realize I already have it made.

My life is about chasing wins, in and out of the casino. But my philosophy has to change.
