Monday 4/13
I fell asleep around 3am last night. It's not surprising that I had some trouble after that anxiety-filled day. I didn't expect that much, though. I refused to take benadryl b/c I needed to not be groggy today, but oh well.
Yesterday was an amazing day. My oldest son got baptized. In the morning he was trying to back out, so we had that battle to fight. Not trying to force him to do it, just get him to tell us *why* he changed his mind. Finally he came around on his own and just decided he was good for it. Went off beautifully! Then I found out that the reading I had left to do for exam was double what I expected it to be and we had an additional assignment on top that the professor didn't include in one of his emails (the one I read obviously!) Then my boys came in from scootering and my youngest had had a nasty fall. Chipped tooth, bad scrapes on both arms, and a rather harsh bruise and scrape on his side just above the hip bone. This took about an hour to resolve between cleaning the wounds and verifying that there was no more serious injury. I sent an email and phone call to the professor to ask for an extension on some of the work due to this crisis, but didn't hear back (not his fault I'm sure--even profs have a life on Sunday). I managed to get it all done amazingly, and turned in my last assignment at 11:27pm. That is a day I never want to relive! Funny thing-prof came through with the extension at 11:15pm but I didn't see it before I turned stuff in, so now he's gonna wonder about me I'm sure. :)
I have my follow-up appt with the doc in about an hour or so. I am currently in the process of writing down what I need to discuss with her. She'll probably want to try the wellbutrin again, which I'm willing to do. However, it has to be with some help on the working at home portion of the program.
God bless my DH for handling our taxes last night, too. It was a bit of an imposition when he asked me about stuff, but thanks to his initiative our tax return is almost ready. One more thing off my plate. Ahhhhh.

Well, there\'s a day from hell... hope today is MUCH better and the dr appt goes well.
Good luck w MD appointment now that all that other crises (the baptismal, the injuries from your son\'s fall, your paper, AND taxes - what a day!) are behind you. May it go with and without complication. You can exhale for now!
Thank you! Yes, this has been a day of relief to be sure! The doc appointment went well, if not where I\'d hoped. It\'s still moving forward. Doc\'s decision is to send me for a sleep study. No suspicion of apnea, but she is sure there is another disorder involved. Then a neuro psych check for ADD and similar stuff. So these are new avenues and I am keeping my mind open and hopeful. Now for the big exhale. Ahhhhh....
