Missing Gene

One year, 4 months and I'm still just going through the motions of living.  I miss Gene so much that my heart aches everyday.  I still keep thinking he'll come back one day.  I pretend that he's just away somewhere and that he'll be coming home.  I know deep in my heart that he's not and that makes the pain immense.
