Minor Anxiety
Last night I had a small anxiety attack out of the blue. This is the first time in a very long time that it happened and I could not find a reason. I just breathed through it and kept ignoring it till it passed.
The root canal went very well. This new dentist is awesome and I did not feel much. IT healed up very well and I didn't take any of the prescription pain meds. Yesterday, I went and had the post put in. Again, I did not feel anything and today I only have a mild ache in my jaw.
It finally turned cold here so it's dark and cold when I leave and dark and cold when I get home.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday a young girl that I worked with was killed in a car accident. Her mom and brother also work for the company so it pretty much shook everyone here at work. Everyone is short handed and it's been busy as hell in my dept. She was only 22, sweet girl. They were good kids on their way to meet their mom for Thanksgiving...no drinking. They think maybe the girlfriend that was driving ran a stop sign. I cannot even imagine what their mom is going through. Her son was released that night with only minor injuries. It all just seems so stupid...what a waste..it's been on everyone's mind here.
Today is the last official lecture day in math and then after that it is just review and testing. The other class, with the Norco addict for a teacher, I am already done with since he posted the open book final exam over the holiday weekend. I already took it and got a perfect score. Although his classes are always an easy A, it's still sad since you never learn anything.
My boyfriend is staying in the bay tonight, so hopefully I will have a peaceful, anxiety free, evening.

Good job, working through the attack. Stay Strong! All my prayers for your colleagues.
good job breathing through panic attack, and also not taking pain meds for tooth..thats remarkable! my pain meds didn't even work when I had my wisdom teeth pulled (I would have tried anything!) some teachers are so lazy, its a shame, complete waste of time- I once had one in college who would make us write papers on the most ridiculous things- so I wrote a paper explaining how stupid the question he asked was- and ended it with ' in conclusion, one need not look any further into this topic' and I got an A (even though my paper basically insulted his question LOL)
