Ken bites (I really wanna say s----!)
Ken can be a real doo-doo head! So I'm reading journals and crying & he starts being a jerk and saying how he "is tired of seeing me cry." Well then buddy move out coz that ain't likely to change. What an idiot!
Anyway, that's all. It'll be ok or it won't but if I need to cry in my own home I will.
Thank you for listening. have a good & peaceful night.
Love and peace to all.

Men are fixers by nature.. They cannot fix this so they struggle with not only their own grief but ours. As my friend said to me when a couple loses a child they are both bent sticks and you cannot lean on a bent stick for support.. As time moves along our sticks can help mend each other or they break. I never understood fully what she meant but now I do.. Love to you and keep crying my friend.
Oh, Linda E, you have every right to be pissed. And, I guess I want to add that I don\'t think it\'s just a man vs woman thing. Deep grief is a very personal and internal feeling state and I think it\'s hard for others, on the outside, to completely understand. I remember talking to a woman I know whose friend had lost her teenage son (accidental drug overdose) less than a year before and the woman asking me (knowing I\'d lost my son) when her friend would be \"back to normal.\" I remember her saying, selfishly I thought, \"I just want my friend back.\" I have to admit, I didn\'t feel very patient and I told her she\'d never get the old friend back the way she had been, that her friend has been changed forever. I\'m guessing part of Ken just wants his old friend back too and it came out as impatience with your tears. It\'s why we have each other. Because we know those tears are always there. Love you and thinking of you and Eddie, Linda J
I believe that no matter how much a man may grieve for a child, it can never feel the same as a mother. We carried our precious children under our hearts for nine months. There is no greater love. Many men don\'t know how to share their feelings and get defensive. You cry when you have to. We need to.
In the early days after we lost Mike, Hubby used to say\" just remember all the good times\" If I hear that one more time I will scream. Now it has been 3 yrs he asks if I am alright espescially if I am watching a movie with death in it. I guess he has come around.
Have you told him you just need to cry, dont fix it just let it leak. Men need to know not to fix it just like we have learned not to go into their cave. (Men are from Mars Women are from Venus). I hope the light bulb comes on one day..
