Jessica Update
Jessica has improved remarkable. She is sitting up, even drank some Dr Pepper. She has come a long way. She still has a lot to go, there will be a lot of surgies ahead of her starting Tuesday. They will reopen the cut on her face. She is so lucky it came so close to her eye, actually stopped right at the eye so I don't think it will be affected. The cut is the entire side of her face, so I am not sure what the Plastic Surgeons will be able to do for the scar after the cheek bone and jaw bone is repaired.
They are still watching the spleen. She will probably have to have surgery on her pelvic bone. Really they did scans and test today and won't know those results until tomorrow.
Thanks to all who has prayed and continue to pray. Jess does not remember the wreck as of yet or how she got to where she is.
Thanks again and will update with more information as it comes in. Really tired.
We are about 2 hours from the hospital...so being there all day and driving back and forth bit tiring...She is a lovely beautiful girl.
Thanks everyone.
Sandi

So scary at first but now it seems that Jessica is on the road to recovery. May she be blessed with a staff of brilliant medial provides. She already seems to have a terrific family to stand by her through any procedure that may be deemed necessary. Take care of yourself.

I\'m glad you had a chance to give an update. It sure sounds so much better than it was. I\'ve seen some awful bad injuries and with all the doctors know today the healing is just miraculous. We will keep you all in our prayers. Hugs Elissa Cara\'s Mom For Always
Hey Sandi,
Thank you for the update. I continue to pray for Jessica and that her youth and God\'s guiding hand (through the doctors) will get her though this in as healthy and unscathed and scarred a way as possible.
I pray for your continued health as well. I know that you are her grandmother and need to be there for her and yourself, but let others who love her spell you for a while and rest. One of your many friends and supporters
