It is Finally Done
I have been hiding out and steering clear of the news, but it seems it is done. Biden has won the presidency. Congratulations to he and those who voted for him. I am taking a breath and simply praying that he does take this oath seriously for ALL of us, not just those that many see as more of a concern.
All does happen for a reason. Now I shall stay quietly aside . I just pray as time goes on I may feel a bit more included then as I do right now. For me, I think that was why I was so outspoken, because my entire life I was not allowed to speak up... and was always discounted. I am there again.
At any rate... is another day.

rmb, you said it. I wish people would take a step back and breathe. American has survived 244 years and it will continue to do so.
I’ve decided to put my hands on reality. I’m buying American whenever possible, volunteering to help my community and living the healthiest life I can.
Unplugged from social media and leave my phone for hours at a time to remind myself that my thoughts can be uncluttered whenever I choose.
To be honest I’m done with this drama and isolation from my fellow countrymen (women)
My mission is to drastically reduce my footprint on the planet by avoiding single use plastic and basically not buying anything from China as it ends up in the trash so quickly. My work shoes are made in America, were expensive and have lasted years of hard use. Would have gone through four cheep pairs by now. (for example) Let’s make America great again with our individual daily choices.
I can only be responsible for myself and maybe, with others of the same mind, this could be enough.
The lesson I’ve learned from this election is that it’s not so much the politicians dividing us, it’s us giving the power to the media. who then mould the situation. Idk maybe I’m wrong but I’m going to try a different approach because I don’t like the thought of another civil war. We’re better than that.
