ineffective goal?

I haven't received any compliments since i formed this goal, so I haven't really had to "work" at anything.  makes me think i might have taken the easy way out.  But i knew that this was a very concrete way to do the opposite action thing and help with the self esteem.  anyway, we'll see if I'm put to the test at all this week.  I guess it would be much more helpful if i were around people a bit more.  I'm sure as hell not going to get any compliments from my husband or son...
