In The Big Easy
We arrived in New Orleans last night after a long day. We were an hour late leaving, which ensured that we just missed the flight from Houston so had to get on the next plane. We arrived here at 10:30. We got a taxi to the hotel to find out that it was booked - they couldn't find our reservation. Luckily Joe had the info on the Ipad so were able to prove we had a room booked. After conversations with the boss, the guy at the desk told us that they had a room at a hotel around the corner and got us a cab. We were settled in at 12:30. I don't know what has gotten in to me. I usually panic when things don't go according to plan. As we were waiting at the airport, I said "We will get there one way or another; no problem". Joe said "Where is Marlene?".
Elissa and her husband are going to be our tour guides today! How lucky are we!! I am looking forward to the day and next weekend!!
Lisa: I think you must have been with me keeping me calm. I surprised myself! I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

Have a great time in New Orleans and at the retreat. I\'ll be looking for all the journals from everyone about it.
Love what Joe said, \"Where is Marlene?\" LOL!
Looking forward to seeing you @ the Retreat!
Hugs,
Donna
Have a wonderful time and I know you always make a grand trip around the retreat. What fun to have Elissa and Richard be your tour guides and hey, you might run into Brad Pitt as he has a home there. :)
When we can be calm and go with the flow it is such a wonderful thing because just as you said one way or another you will get there and you did.
Enjoy yourselves!
XO Joanie
Hope you and Joe have a wonderful time in \"The Big Easy\". Please keep journalling so that those of us not there with you can at least experience it through your eyes!
Not surprised that Lisa whispered in your soul to stay calm and breathe. Look! Even without the stress and panic, you both made it and probably enjoyed the journey a lot more!
Love you lady, you brighten up the room where ever you go!

We had a great day with Elissa and Richard! We did the streetcar and saw the architecture of old. We wandered around the French Quarter, had a seafood dinner and visited Bourbon Street briefly. Now it is time for bed. Going to the swamp tomorrow!

Have a great time. My daughter lived their for two years and I always enjoyed visiting. Totally recommend Bacchanal - a non touristy jazz hangout and great wine!

Maybe you were going to \"The Big Easy\" to feel \"at ease!\" Glad you had a great time. I tend to panic inwardly but then I try to make the best of it. Glad you are having a good time.
Enjoy!!!!!
