In The Big Easy
We arrived in New Orleans last night after a long day. We were an hour late leaving, which ensured that we just missed the flight from Houston so had to get on the next plane. We arrived here at 10:30. We got a taxi to the hotel to find out that it was booked - they couldn't find our reservation. Luckily Joe had the info on the Ipad so were able to prove we had a room booked. After conversations with the boss, the guy at the desk told us that they had a room at a hotel around the corner and got us a cab. We were settled in at 12:30. I don't know what has gotten in to me. I usually panic when things don't go according to plan. As we were waiting at the airport, I said "We will get there one way or another; no problem". Joe said "Where is Marlene?".
Elissa and her husband are going to be our tour guides today! How lucky are we!! I am looking forward to the day and next weekend!!
Lisa: I think you must have been with me keeping me calm. I surprised myself! I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

Hope you have fun and eat great food. I have always heard it was a dirty city. I hope not I hear the food is the best and the longer the lines the better to food. I will want to hear all about it this weekend.

Sounds like a fun time. I\'m glad you\'re not getting flustered by any change of plans. Surely your Lisa is by your side.
Hugs to you and all the SOTH at the retreat this weekend.

Marlene, so glad you took the mix up in stride. I feel like I have learned a lot from my son about keeping things in perspective. I bet Lisa has taught you well, too.
Love to you and sweet Lisa, Linda
