But I can't, you might dismiss it as a crush, but in the long term, it'll be the case. But it sucks balls, I thought I'd won the lottery, but I was too late, story of my life. Maybe one day I'll get what I want. (Yeah, right!)

Are you sure it is about that person? or more about the rejection? Give yourself some time. Your perspective may change. you are ALLOWED to feel bad. No one is saying you should be over it already. No matter what the relationship was your feelings are valid, and no one can tell you when it's time for it to be over.
Well, it's more about the rejection I would say, although the person appeared to be pretty awesome to be honest. But somebody on here responded telling me it was just a crush and I should cool my jets, not quite the phrase used, but it was basically that, and whilst it's a fair point considering the circumstances, I can't help but feel shitty nonetheless.
I'm not sure the crush/no crush part matters as much as the rejection part. No one likes that part LOL. Don't force yourself to fit into a time frame. We sometimes forget to show ourselves the same love and support that we show others here. Hugs!
