I made the call

Well, I called Mike back tonight and he felt really bad when I told him about Gene.  He, like everyone else, simply didn't know what to say and all I could tell him was that that was okay.  I hung up the phone and totally lost it.  Feeling pretty bad right now.  Just feel like curling up and crying but will try to stay strong and let the bad feelings pass.  Oh how I miss Gene.  The call was so hard to make, but I'm proud of myself that I did it and made it through.  Please, no more challenges like that for awhile.  Can't handle much more right now.
