I'm so sad....

His mother passed away. She was a lovely woman and a dear friend. She once told me she thought of me as a daughter-in-law. She stood for me when he left me. Told me she was so embarrassed about his behavior. I will miss her so. I have to go to the wake and maybe funeral. His family that have been so supportive will expect it. My biggest performance- seeing him with his wife and not falling apart. I thought if I was lucky I'd never have to see him again. Fate can really bite you. But this isn't about me or him. It's about paying respect to her. And she deserves my best.

My condolences, my friend. You do not have to acknowledge them, just walk right by them. Hold that head up high, turn around and walk away when you see them. Hugs

If she meant that much to both of you, then you will be thinking of her and your love for each other.
It surpasses everything else
