I am a competent viable woman

Almost two weeks ago I started feeling ill. I shifted between chills and feeling too hot for several days. I should have sought medical attention earlier but I thought it was the flu and that I get over it.  Long story short I was ill because I had a serious foot infection. They operated on me last Sunday. The surgery left a rather large open wound that will take several months to heal. I am a diabetic and unfortunately this is a common problem for diabetics. I am supposed to stay totally off my feet absolutely no wait on the right foot except for a couple steps to go to the bathroom. I am supposed to keep my foot above my heart to assist in the healing process. It's an awkward position to type from. I can type with one finger and do some but I have also discovered that my tablet has a voice function. I just wanted to let you all know if you don't hear from me a lot I'm here and I'm praying for all of us. Wishing you all gentle moments comfort through the holidays and much love.
