Hurricane Time
Happy Friday to Everyone. As most of you know I live about one hour and a half from the coast of North Carolina. So here comes Irene. I live in Goldsboro. So far I think they are expecting our area to have tropical storm winds, strong gust and heavy rains. I will have a house full today as daddy and both my brothers will be spending the night with us. My daddy lives in what I call a wobble box. My brother Brian lives with him and he tells me his nerves cannot take staying there in another storm. I don't blame him. Of course grocery stores are bare and will be even worst this afternoon. I am hoping we do not lose power. Speaking of power, you know what that means. Yes John will be leaving on Sunday morning heading to the coast to restore power there. But at least my brother Phillip will be home with me. Just know I will be thinking of you all and love you.

Rhonda....I was thinking of you this morning when watching the news! I hope you don\'t get too much of it. I know how this is....have been thru many in Miami and especially surviving Hurricane Andrew and working for the power company too. Stay safe and many thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Being very mindful of where you are darling, hoping for the best. Stay safe and update us when you can. Wishing safe travels to and from for John and all the crew members who must be out in these storms. Safety to everyone is my prayer.
Rhonda, my thoughts will be with you! I am about 3 hours inland, so not so much worry about flooding...it is all about the power. I think I am going to my mom\'s house tomorrow night so that if the power is gone, I will not be all alone. I am thankful for John and those who help us out when we need it here in Maryland. We are all a bit shaky here having a hurricane coming just days after an earthquake and tornado warnings on the Chesapeake Bay yesterday and now a hurricane. Whats up? Good luck and stay safe to John in the storm. I\'m sure he and his crew will be a savior to many. We were all in Cape Hatteras during hurricane Alex.....but on vacation so didn\'t have to deal with the aftermath - weather is so random. Here in Indiana seven people just died during the state fair from a freak storm. Take good care of yourselves - glad your brother is with you ~ Joanna
