hoping today is better

I'm going to try and have a positive day. Yesterday really threw me for a loop and I am not capable of handling stressful situations with a level head. I still have a lot of work to do on myself. I don't feel sorry about the things I said to her. I know she is an evil and malice person. I've seen it in her actions towards her children and her actions towards me I have no kind feelings towards her. I honestly believe she is evil...well God defeats evil! EVeryone keeps telling me she will get what's coming to her...but why hasn't she yet ? Why hasn't God put a stop to her terrible actions towards our family? Why must we continue to suffer because of her actions? I still am completely at a loss. But it's in Gods plan. I just have to trust that I don't know what that is yet but when he's ready to reveal it to me I will see it.

I\'m glad you\'re trying to have a better day today. It\'s not always easy. I can\'t believe she move that far away. I\'m sorry I\'m not familiar with your situation. Are these your step kids and bio mom moved away? What a dumb bitch. I would fight that tooth and nails! I hope somehow everything will work out. Try to stay strong for the kids. They clearly love you. :)

yes I am just step mom but the kids are with us full time. her visits were actually reduced because she would never show up for visits. now she just moves 200 miles away and is trying to make it difficult on us but it\'s more difficult on the kids. they are the ones that suffer and i\'m the one they confide in so I have to hear their pain. The oldest told me that her mom must not like them because she keeps moving farther away from them. I have no children of my own but for the last two years these two girls have been with me almost every day, the only time they are not with me is when they are with their mom. they call me mom, they are still confused about what a real mom and step mom is. they don\'t understand the difference but to them it doesn\'t matter, they have such big hearts and have gone through more than a child should go through. I just dont\' get it. I struggle to conceive but this woman has four kids and she only has custody of the youngest that the court should have taken away once they found drugs in his body when he was born. Im trying to hold onto my faith and not lose my own progress but it\'s tough.

thanks ladies for taking the time to comment :)

This is so difficult for you and your husband. I can\'t even begin to imagine it. And it is so difficult to understand why she moved so far away. But I reckon that your heart is with these children who probably need you more than ever as a stabilizing force in their lives and that is a good enough reason to hold it together in faith, even though there is no understanding of the bio Mums actions. You seem very strong in this way.
I have a saying that I use in times like this. \"Your happiness or unhappiness depends upon your actions and not upon my wishes\" I guess what this says is that she is responsible for her actions and even though they seem harsh and unreasonable to you it is her actions that she will be accountable for. You on the other hand make different choices and do different actions that are more considered, responsible and caring. Bless you for your care of those children.

to top it all off we found out today she is pregnant again....my heart hurts as we\'ve been trying to conceive for two years...and she will rub this in my face like she did the last time. I\'m just not up for this pain again.
