Health update
I've had two good weeks. Been resting a lot over the past 2 months. It has helped. Most days I hardly notice the pain anymore, my head is clear and my energy is improved.
Did some moving over the weekend, I lifted a really heavy bed and did some cleaning up. That would not have been possible a month ago. Best things is I did not crash. I slept for a few hours afterward but it wasn't a wipe out, it felt like regular sleep. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH" [singing]
I am tired today, unfortunately since my moving effort on the weekend I have spent 2 days going up and down stairs, facilitating electricians. I have also had pretty demanding days at work. So that's 5 demanding days back-to-back. No crash yet but I am feeling the strain and my body hurts. So today is a slow take-it-easy kind of day.
I am very grateful.
I just remembered I have to call the doc to get my pap smear results.
I also have to go to the dentist. Have been ignoring a tender tooth for a few weeks now and its getting worse.
Seems I also have an ear infection. I picked up an infection a few weeks back, crashed for a few days then got over it. Never went to the doc or took any meds. For the past few days the right side of my face and head has been swollen. My scalp hurts when I touch it as does my face. I have been getting headaches, my eyes hurt and my vision is impacted. When I was trying to eat yesterday I realized that even my gums are swollen! Just on the right side! Then the stabbing pains in my ear confirmed that I do have a problem!
Still not eager to go back to the doc..any doc!
My son's breathing issues have been acting up. Took him to the doc a few weeks ago, doc recommended some tests and Xrays. Got the tests done but then I crashed so I still need to take him to get the xrays, and go get the result of the other tests. Poor baby has to use his asthma pumps several times a day because something is causing his lungs to lock up and we don't what it is. So I think next week I'll deal with my son's health issues and then the following week, if I'm still swollen and in pain, I'll consider going back to my doc.
PS : The stomach pain continues. Stomach is still swollen, pain still radiates down my left leg. I've gotten so used to it now I hardly notice it anymore. Funny how we adjust to stuff...

Hi Max! Jeepers, if I did all that stuff you did, including the moving and the stairs and the infections, I would totally crash. No doubt about it. I\'m so glad you\'re taking an \"easy day\" for yourself. Gotta save up some spoons. I hope you make it through this without a crash. I\'m in one now. But I had almost tow months without very minimal ones, so I\'m thankful for that.
I understand your reluctance to go to any doctor...EVER....but with all this right sided swelled in tooth problems, maybe an antibiotic would be in order! That may be all you need to knock out all the infections and get you back on the right track! The earache would be the thing that would push me over the edge and into the docs office. One ten day stint on an antibiotic and 90% of this stuff might just clear out, and leave you alone!
Sorry your child has an illness like asthma! It\'s so hard when our kids are sick, isn\'t it? My daughter has lupus and fibro. It kills me to see her suffer. I place her in God\'s hands, and He has been good to her.
Have a good day! Weekend comin up! xoxo
Hi max, just goes to show how much we value some extra energy, and how it takes priority. You have an ear infection, swollen stomach, pain in your leg, swollen gums, headaches, sore face and scalp, impacted vision.Still, you are happy because you were able to do some physical work and haven\'t crashed.Just shows how resilient you really are, and despite all those ailments, you still express gratitude and say that you have had two good weeks. Wow!! You are inspiring.xoxxo
