Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello Dear Hearts,
Once again it's time to count our blessings.....May I wish you a Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving?
Thank you.....Happy Turkey Day!
Tomorrow morning I will whip up a batch of "spoon bread", the long name is "Sweet Corn Spoon Bread". It's easy to make and so good to eat! While it's baking I'll be getting ready for time with family.
Pray that I can do all that is needed throughout the day.......I pray for you also!
When I am ready I will head over to Sam's home.....he will take us the rest of the way......over the highway and through the lights to family time we'll go!
I will be celebrating at the home of my ex-husband's wife's sister's house......I know, it's a little complicated, but blended/divided families can be like that. Hope for a goooood day!
Grandma is moving into a two bedroom apartment from the big home she and Grandpa used to share. The smaller footprint will be so much easier to manage for everyone.....I hope Grandma is ok with this, that it will bring her comfort and peace. She is very forgetful and confused at times.....family is trying hard to be in care of her.....love her, help her through.
Happy New Home to Grandma!
Time to lay out an outfit......this is what I used to do for my kids at night when they were growing up, to save time in the mornings. Maybe I'll attempt painting my nails? Break out my "That Girl" lunch box, full of nail polish and see how badly I can mess that up!
I hope you find ways and reasons to count your blessings.......I hope you will know I care despite my very very limited interaction with life, with you.......today I was doing some kitchen chores and felt anxious being out of my bedroom. That can't be a good sign.....I want my home to be a haven, not a prison. Sanctuary......a comfort, a place of safety for healing......
love to all and again a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy, happy Thanksgiving!
I have broccoli salad done....... gotta go do sweet potatoes next, and the two kinds of yeast rolls. We're eating at my brother's house - a whole 400 yard drive. Yay!
I'm behind in time. Hope it all went well Ruthie. xoxo
