Happy Halloween!
Trick or Treat!
What a day...........got a haircut & style, wahoooooo! Got a mani/pedi.......bright red polish. Sweet.
Got lunch out.......got medicine. Ohhhhh yeah, went junk pickin' at a local thrift store and found a hand signed Intaglio Anton iridescent glass paperweight for $4. gonna have a research project on my hands. it is very pretty either way........but I suspect there is a story behind it. It is either a peach or an apple?
Gonna go take a deeper look at the hodge podge of used CD's I got today.........gonna have some wonderful musical magical in home concerts. So happy............!
Saw some trick or treaters and dolled up humans today...........zombies and scary witches and spider woman & Dorothy of Kansas and Captain America and a bitty little baby girl teddy bear..........insanely cute by the way. Saw some trunk or treat parties at local churches..........this is new to me. Folks tailgate in area church parking lots, set up chairs while the kids go trunk to trunk collecting treats. Talk about streamlined.......!
Man, we used to skip from house to house to house......block to block , up the driveways, down the drivesways........it was exercise right?! and eventually we began trudging.....greed overtaking common sense. Five kids and free candy? We had to.......it was NECESSARY. Remember sitting on the floor after making strategic candy trades for favorites. It was almost as much fun as ringing bells and being given treats! We would throw this unbelievable windfall of bliss up in the air and giggle with incredible delight.

I have just caught up on your last four journals, Ruth, and you are sounding better which is great, I love reading your journals and I love your positive attitude, even in the midst of problems and happenings. I\'m sure if you turned your journal into a book, \"Living Day by Day with CF etc etc\", it would be a best seller.
We don\'t really celebrate Hallowen in Australia, althoughsome kids do go \"trick or Treating\" and I can remember our girls doing it when they were young (now all 32+). Never heard until now of \"trunk or trick\" parties. we didn\'t have anywhere as much as kids today have but we sure had a lot of fun.
