Happy Friday Eve
I got through the first week of school. I think Math is going to be ok and the second class is an easy A. I had the second class today and already did the first two assignments while he was talking. It's a holiday weekend. Three days off and not a ton of homework. I'm sure I should be excited but i'm really not. We are supposed to have a project weekend and catch all the things at the house that need doing. He has quite a list. I tried to tell him he has way overestimated what we can accomplish but, oh well. At least I will get the garage cleaned enough to put up my punching bag. Now, THAT, is something to look forward to.
I really wanted to give the cats a bath this weekend but since he still hasn't fixed the kitchen sink and there is hardly any water pressure, I don't think it will happen. I don't know how many hot weekends we will have and I try not to do it to them when it's not hot out. They are already pissed enough about the whole process. LOL.
Those damn ducks are still in our front yard. They have holes dug all over the lawn and the sidewalk is a mess. She finally started turning the eggs and sitting on them some. I looked it up today to see how long til they are cooked. The internet said 29 to 35 days for the eggs to hatch. ugh. Holy Crap. The doves in the back finally said goodbye to their fourth batch of the summer and it doesn't seem like they are going to start anymore. I feel like my house is some wayward home for animals LOL.
Still holding steady on the anxiety front. I still feel a little down about things, mostly my relationship situation, but nothing dramatic. I was down another pound and a half this morning also. This is the first time I have been under 125 in about 15 years. Yay for me! I think to celebrate, I'm to make me some wild cookies this weekend.

pass the plate of cookies please.....hugs congrats on weight that is great....and birds do have to have places to live....you must live rural because they would not nest in front yard if urban
Nope, I'm in town..but near a park with a small lake.
I love animals:) your lucky u can bathe your cats, mine wont allow that, its not worth the torture lol- I do baby wipe her though, shes pretty clean now, has nice shiny fur- she was a little smelly thing as a kitten LOL:) good luck with the house- cant wait to hear how u feel after a round or two with that punching bag;);)
I love animals too but those ducks are super messy. The doves, I just have to watch to dog because she wants to chase them all the time. Let's be clear, the cats are NOT happy about it and if they can hide, they will. I usually have one of the kids be my assistant and hand me soap and towel because while they won't scratch or bite, if I let go, even for a second, they would be gone LOL
