Halloween
I've always loved this holiday. Not just because it was a blast growing up, or how much fun I have giving out candy to trick or treaters, but I guess because it's holiday with a horror theme to it.
I enjoy horror movies and not just for the thrill of the scare, but because I can relate to them. As sick as it sounds, they usually comfort me. When I see something something on the screen that is horrific llke the thougths that go through my sick head I usually enjoy it. The only difference is, I can always turn of the movie but I can never turn off my thoughts. I've learned some tools to use to deal with them over the years but they will never go away and unlike a move they will never truly end.
Because of my thoughts, I've aways wanted to write a horror song and I thought one for Halloween time would be a good time. Below is the link to my song. Take care everyone!

Halloween is definitely a holiday for all ages! Even though my childhood Halloweens weren't fun (they were scary, but not in a good way), I enjoy handing out candy to kids today. I also watch Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin every year. Kinda the opposite of a horror movie. : )
I can't imagine how difficult it must be to have the thoughts that you describe, and no way of turning them off. Hugs. I'm so glad that you've developed some ways to cope with them.
Your Halloween song is great!! Some notes I jotted down along the way (only my personal opinion): :07 - Goosebumps! (awesome sound); :18 - LOVE the "metallic" sixteenth notes!!; :25-:29 - great chord progression, wanting more fullness/support underneath, perhaps consider underlying bass note or continue the sixteenth notes?; :44 - Really liking the "mockingbird" voice, perhaps start softer and emerge from the sound?; 1:16 -very pretty/pleasant, but wanting tension/anguish after the "mockingbird" voice; 1:53 - YES!! The tension I wanted at @ 1:16! Awesome!!; 2:28 - Liking the choir sound A LOT, especially @ 2:35; End = Perfect!
