Had a beer - doing good

I don't have time for a full write up (working on a 6-8 page research paper) but wanted a quick post saying that I consciously chose to stop abstaining from alcohol entirely. I haven't had a craving in a very long time and I have found the worst part of sobriety is being afraid of alcohol. Today I had a beer. One, I didn't crave more, I didn't order more, I didn't want more. I feel as though I can control myself and I can occasionally have a drink or two, but I'm starting extremely slowly and I'm not letting many people know - don't need people shoving alcohol down my throat. I'm feeling really good though, really balanced, really in control. It's a great feeling. Funny enough, 1 beer had me feeling light headed... it was s Corona (around 5%? not too sure actually).
