Guniea Pig for PDOC
I just got back from a GREAT visit with my Pdoc. She is a Teacher and consultant for the University of Michigan Medical System. Every now and then she has student visitors like today that are there to observe. Today was cool I got to sit and listen to her describe me, and my condition and progress reports. She picked a good time to do it. It was like I was getting a summary of the last 4 years and how much progress I've made toward controling what is an above average case of BP I. To thank her for helping me with my SSDI I made a dozen copies of my mood chart that she really likes and has been passing around the office. (a blank one). She said it was the perfect gift because they dont have a color printer at the VA so she loves being able to have something fun for her patients. http://www.healthyplace.com//communities/Bipolar/mood_chart_blank.pdf When I got home my sons room was trashed and his mother and I made him clean his floor before I steamcleaned it and wash his walls. We are going to try getting him to daily vacume his room so he can see how dirty he keeps making it. Well I am going to look for another project to do because it makes me feel even better to look at a job like his floor and see real results, substantial results. I know I'm doing good because I am now finishing projects I start. I feel Great

Thats great staying busy and seeing the end results usually helps our outlook some. Good job with sone. God bless!
YOU SOUND JUST WONDERFUL AND THAT WOULD BE FUN AT THE PDOC. I USED TO DO THOSE MOOD CHARTS AS WELL. MY PDOC TOLD ME THEY WERE BAD FOR ME. WTF? I ALWAYS LIKED THEM TO TRACK MY PROGRESS LIKE YOU.
