General UpDate And A Smile

First of all going to post a hug on FMO.  I am so very grateful for all of you.  I'm doing really well... Not sure if the slight nausea dizziness is stroke related but I think so... Hard for me... I love to read and to write but I simply can't do it long... My hand is still clumsy but better so I'm hopeful.  I'm actually working on forcing myself to use the fingers of my left hand to type to hopefully help... and it is better... the a  s fingers are still really hard to make them do what I want... keep hitting the cap key but its so much better than it was... couldn't use them at all till the last couple of days... hand still weaky... can't hold anything even a little heavy but again its better... Just love getting older... will be able to bore yall to tears over and over with all the details... LOL  Sheesh... might as well laugh... crying is boring... GRRRRRRRRRRR

My DIL Liz posted this picture and caption on Facebook... It reminded me of another Cara story... actually... I may have shared this... but not sure... and it truly makes me LOL...

OMG... this is too funny... Its so true... privacy... what's that... to be honest Cara was with me so much... always where I was... including the bathroom... I kind of didn't realize how I wasn't keeping ANY secrets till one day I'm in the back room folding clothes... I could hear Cara in the bathroom... didn't think anything of it... so there is a knock on the door... whoosh Cara is off and running... I hurriedly put down whatever I was folding and head for the front door... I had told Cara not to answer the door but that didn't matter... Ms Sociable was on her way... she beat me to the door but not by much... I got there just in time to see Cara opening the front door with her right hand... with her left hand she was very busy trying to shove a kotex between her legs... now where on earth did she see that... sigh...

LOL  Hugs Elissa

That is such a funny story about Cara and the Kotex. It is so true once you are a parent you never have privacy again, same for being a grandma. My granddaughters are always walking in on me. They say, it\'s OK Nana we are both girls. LOL

I\'m so glad that you are already showing some recovery from the stroke. I\'ve heard it is a matter of working at it just as you are doing.

Big Tight Hugs and Love Elissa....Keep up the good work.

Happy that you are feeling progress and I had to LOL with your story! I remember trying to close the bathroom door and little hands trying to make their way under it. :)

As an elementary school teacher for 25 years, oh, the stories I could tell. One that I must is when I taught second grade and one of my little boys brought in a rocket ship that he had loving crafted from tampons. He was so proud that he had created this on this \"own\" while his mommy was away and daddy was in \"charge.\" Guess, daddy must have been watching football when his little hands got busy and he was trying to find the perfect building materials. I\'ll never forget it! LOL!

Keep that delightful sense of humor going dear Elissa as it serves you so well and be like a turtle... easy does it with your healing.

Love and healing (((hugs)))

Yes I can relate, but now its my 2 cats and dog who come walking in...So you are a true typer. Cara was quite the Character just like her mommy.. LOL..Those times were great memories, weren\'t they! Girls hanging out in the bathrooms, it was always that why for me, but only with certain girls..Not so much anymore though! Its nice to hear from you Elissa, keep up the good faith! XO Kelly

Elissa - You make me smile! Your story reminded me of the time Lisa peed in a colander on the front step! She was playing with the colander and figured it was faster to go there than come in to use the toilet.
I am so glad you are getting better. It is wonderful hearing from you.
Love and hugs,
