Final twitter post.
December 21st 2018 my best friend was put down. His name was Turbo. He wasn't the best dog or the goodest boi but he helped me through all of my toughest times. Throughout his 10 years with me he was always there. He was there through my massive depressive states, breakups, suicide attempts, everything and he would always do his best to help me feel better. We were both assholes but it was OK because we were assholes that had eachother. No matter what we had eachothers back. After he passed I was lost. He was my best and longest friend. I moved a lot in my life so I never kept friends for more than a couple years.
January 13th 2019 I came across a small streamer on twitch that made me forget my pain for a little bit.
January 16th I subbed for my first time ever. I started to get back into gaming. Turbo used to lay and watch me game for hours and sometimes even sit in my lap while I would play. I started playing with this small streamer and from the first game we clicked. Even pulled off a wildlands style sync shot on a duo in our first game of blackout together. Before I knew it I was laughing and having fun again. I also grew a desire to get better at gaming so I wouldn't feel like I was holding him back. Little did I know that was just the start.
March 2020 Warzone came out. This, once small, streamer was growing exponentially and I was playing more and more. My thoughts were consumed with helping him reach his potential and kept wanting to get better. I was playing every waking moment that I wasn't working. I have continued this ever since.
I now realize the damage I have caused to my family by taking it to this extreme. What started out as coping mechanism has become unhealthy. I will be taking a break from gaming for the foreseeable future to work on myself and my family. As many of you know I have a daughter due in a couple days and my focus should be on her and my wife. I thank all of you for being an amazing community and supporting the aforementioned streamer.
@scop3s_ you have helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life and there is nothing I could ever do to repay you. You have built an amazing community that supports eachother so much. Remember to always stay humble and continue to bring joy and laughter to the world.
@sn95cobra Thanks for always being there. You are an amazing friend and an even better father. Keep your head up and stay strong to your convictions. Also, don't forget to stop and hula hoop every now and then.
@carllasagna and @motempo keep an eye on our bot make sure you keep him humble and take care of yourselves.
Finally to my subs, Please unsub. I don't know when or if I'll be back. If you want a refund please be sure to submit a request before it renews. Thank you for your support over these couple of years.
