does watching tv depress you more?
It's my routine to watch the international news at night before I go to bed. Tonight
I am finding that watching the programs are kind of depressing me. It's not just the subject matter.
I found myself submitting to the tube - giving it my full focus - and then I found myself getting angry
and paranoid - sad - and reactive. Whatever, I mean - I think at times TV is not so good for me.
I stopped myself before reacting to my feelings of inadequacy - sadness and just loneliness.
I know I feel like I have my blind spots - but I think in part I need to appreciate myself
and not just 'submit to the TV.' LOL Anyways that's all for now.

my mood is always affected by what I watch..if it's a sad show, I will get sad right along with it. more so than I would think would be normal. I thought it was just a girl thing. ;) Hugs
Absotively, my media intake (reading, audio or visual) affects my condition mightily. The effects can run the full spectrum from the positive to the negative. Too much media intake of any stripe means I am sitting alone too much. Need exercise and/or social activity.
It is a question of balance in my strictly personals.
Continued support while you find what it is for you, Mark.
thanks arfie!!
