Day 35: Business Improvements

Somehow I think that people sense when I quit gambling.
Though I didn't tell anyone at work, and certainly didn't tell any potential or existing sales clients, suddenly all of my clients want more work, are making introductions to new clients, and people I have been calling on for months are suddenly signing on the dotted line.
I don't know if it's the time of year, coincidence, or simply that I am able to focus and concentrate and devote the time, energy, and passion necessary to a business needed to grow it. I'm not sure. But it looks like we are going to double our recurring revenue in the next 30-60 days, if not triple it.
On the one hand, it's nerve-racking, exactly the kind of thing that would have driven me to gamble before. But I'm managing the stress with a LOT of fitness walking (tracked by my Fitbit), journaling, reading, and breathing.
On the other hand, I'm ready for this. I've been ready for this for a long time. My company has debt that we have been chipping away at for the past year, and we can start to snowball payments. At this rate, we will be free of debt within 6-12 months and ready to embark on a new stage, post-turnaround: Growth Phase.
Very exciting and nerve-racking.
I'm also losing weight. Very strange. Down 12.5 pounds. Been trying to lose weight for years, but it's actually working now.
