soon we were parked by the rivers edge in the shadow of a few old trees as the sound of the engine died and the vehiclecreaked to a holt .I looked across at her as she sat opposite me. The image of her against the landscape surrunded by the door frame reminded me of a romantic painting. The soft evening light upon her face she looked so pretty. she broke the silence first with a snap"so say what you need to tell me?we are here,im listening" In fear i mustered the courage to say the words that im my imagination i thought i could have shouted across hill tops so easily.but right here right now it was so hard to form the words. The moment for this would never be right but it had to be now.it flet like throwing myself off a cliff,I spoke out "i love you.i love you more than you have ever known.i've Lived in silence while ive seen you in the arms of others.Ive pretended i didn't care or even looked at the ground the times you gazed directly at me incase you saw something in my eyes that i was desperately trying to hide.I cant live as a lie anymore,I do love you and i cant change that fact.Telling you this may destroy everything i have and you may never speak to me again and that would be the right thing to do.But i still have to say it.love was never meant to be a thing of silence love in silence is something that goes against nature."i then sat in silence. I had finaly said it.it were as if i had dropped a bomb and now it was only a matter of seconds till the explosion would follow to swallow me up in a great dark hole.It was like a shock wave had gone though us both She sat in silence.she looked down and toyed with the laces on her dress. Then softly spoke "I love you as well" In shock and exasperation I bust out "since when?""Since always","Just have" she replyed carmly whilest contorting a face to an expression that said- oops you got me. a silent pause followed.she then looked at me directly and spoke"what do we do now?"
