Boogy Man?
Last night was one of the worst nights ever. Honestly this morning was a blur. Starting around 10:30PM last night I started getting nauseated and dizzy. Even while laying in bed I felt like I was going to pass out. My head didn't hurt, but starting around 11:30PM I felt this pressure on the front of my face. I can only describe it as something similar to a major sinus infection, but all over not just on my sinus's. I finally broke down and took a aspirin (I hate taking pills ever since I quite my anti D's) And I think I must have finally fell asleep sometime soon after. But then....Both me and my cat were startled and woken up at approximately 1:55PM. I know because I immediately looked at my clock. The sound was frightening like someone was trying to open my window! I heard this push pull friction kind of sound exactly like what it sounds like when I try and open my window and forget it's locked. My window is right next to my front door. Both me and my neighbor share a porch with either one of our doors and the end of each side. When you walk through my front door and turn immediately right you are in my bedroom. So basically if someone wants to break in my room, there is nothing stopping them from doing that. All of these thoughts were rushing in my head as I watched my cat jump off my bed and run to the front door. I followed her (tip toeing) and saw her pawing at the front door with her paw pads. I noticed when I turned the corner to get to my front door I didn't hear anything anymore. But that was odd because my porch is old wood and bounces even when my neighbors small dogs walks across it. I decided to flick on my porch lights (I leave them off at night because they would shine through my window) and expected to hear the sound of someone scuffling down the porch stairs and run off. I still heard nothing. That scared the crap out of me, that meant the person was not afraid..??? I tried to look through my peep hole, but damnit my stupid Halloween pumpkin poster was blocking it. So I closed my eyes, counted to 3 and opened the door.....
....Nothing...No one was there.
My heart was racing and I felt so completely confused. What the hell was me and my cat hearing? It was too close to come from another apartment. It was literally outside MY window.
This is actually the second time over a few days this has happened. The first time my cat didn't act like she heard anything so I assumed it was all in my head. I'm tired of opening the door and finding no one there.

if your kitty reacted then something was happening, that is very scary, i glad you are okay though
Eeep...I agree with WyndWytch, that has to be scary because you don\'t know where that would be coming from.
I know this may not be plausible, but: Would the window make a sound like that if it was blustery outside, too? I mean, I\'m glad you\'re okay, but this doesn\'t sound it\'s been happening a lot with you until recently so I can understand why you\'d be concerned about this.

I left my porch lights on last night. My neighbors came to me pretty pissed off because the light also shines in there window, but I just told them to deal with it.... I think from now on I\'m turning them on at night.
