Big Game tonight!
I was never a fan of college basketball until a kid that lives 30 minutes north of me, turned the basketball world upside down because he was so good. He is currently playing at Duke and is in the sweet 16 tournament for the national championship. He is expected to be drafted into the NBA number one after his freshman year and he is only 18.
I can't even remember anyone from the state of maine whoever played in the NBA! It is so rare. He is such a joy to watch. Nice kid, comes from a nice family. Typical Maine family. I think y'all know his name so I'm not gonna say it. We are playing Arizona at 9:30 tonight and I am counting the minutes till tip-off!

Hi Bob,Go Duke! :) it's gonna be an exciting game :) we're happy you're looking forward to the big game tonight, in the sweet 16 round of the ncaa tournament :) Duke vs Arizona is a great matchup, they have a long time history in the tournament, including the 2001 national title game, where Duke won with Jay Williams, Carlos Boozer, great game, and rivalry over the years :) i remember Coach K's Duke teams vs Olson's Arizona teams :) Wishing Duke a great victory :) it's very exciting, the star player of Duke, is from Maine,and is a great draft prospect for the nba :) he's destined for greatness :) it's so nice, you all are looking forward to cheering :) We hope you all enjoy the game, and wishing Duke a great win, and that they continue to march on to the elite 8,and eventually the final 4 :) Lets go Duke! :) Thank you Bob, for sharing your excitement for the sport :) Enjoy the game tonight :)

@ Billwfriend His name is Cooper Flagg and he had a great game last night scoring 30 points in the win. Now they play Alabama in another semi final game on Saturday.
@ Chris1981 I just wish Uconn would have won too. Would have loved to have seen Liam and Coop reunited albeit on opposite sides.

@ Caryj1202 I did enjoy it. I confess I didn't watch the whole game. I was tired and went to bed. I did not wake up until I had to take the dogs out. I checked the score and it was near the end and Duke had a small lead but held on to win.
@ Mid yes indeed! I have followed him since his days in high school when as a freshman, led his team to the state championship and won gatorade player of the year.

Duke did not get to the big dance. Other team rally at the end of game smoked Dukes chances. Sorry Bob but the guy from Maine just could get drafted to NBA and become stsr in the league. That would bring Maine some street cred! LoL
@ billwfriend I know Bill. Poor Coop had to do all the work. He scored 27 and the other high draft pick scored 16. 3 others scored in single digits.
He just won the prestigious Naismith award award as the best player in college basketball plus he had a 4.0 grade in all of his classes. We will get to watch him play again next year on whatever NBA team drafts him.... I am so excited.
