another Anxiety attack- Extra dose

I felt it coming.  I tried to just ignore it and go to bed but an hour after I went to bed it became clear it did not want to be ignored.  I got up and took an extra dose and went back to bed.  While I was taking the extra dose he was still awake and asked me what was wrong.  I told him It's just anxiety again.  He said well I will come lay down with you and maybe you will feel better.  It did help having him near for the comfort level but after 4 days of him not being in there I was no longer used to the snoring and coughing so I didn't sleep well.  I didn't feel it right away when I woke up but now it is back in full force.  I haven't had one this bad in quite a long time.  The strange part...and I guess that is why it is generalized anxiety...is that yesterday was not a very bad or stressful day so not sure where it came from.   I have been asking myself pretty tough questions lately so my friend would probably say that it is from digging into my issues.  Maybe he is right.  time to get ready for work and suck it up though...it's going to be a long day.

Your friend is right but if you resolve the original issue then the anxiety will quickly fade away.

Anxiety is often simply from unresolved issues seeking resolution. I hope you have needed resolution very soon.
