Am I really bipolar?

It's on my insurance records therefore I'm ineligible for a vast amount of treatments. And I'm taking bipolar meds that clearly aren't working

i wonder now if I just stated I'm bipolar or if I was legitimately diagnosed

all I can do at this point is improve my attitude. Be positive. Get a hobby

i was seeing my dr every 2 weeks. At my latest appt he increased my meds( the bipolar ones)& his receptionist informed me I couldn't get an appt for 5 weeks

im anxious and I don't evenhave enough anxiety meds to get me from here to then.
5 weeks seems like forever. Especially w a change in medication

do you think I should shop for a new doc or put my husband on the phone w the receptionist to see if she can please find a moment for me sooner?  Or should I just grin & bear it?

I feel let down... the hope of the new treatments & meds now out of my reach due to a ( questionable) diagnoses. The long separation from my doc during a very very dark time for me

You have a right to be reevaluated. I would suggest an independent evaluation.

If you can, have your husband speak with the receptionist and to ask about an independent evaluation.

You're writing it out. Good work.
