a terrible choice...
I am being a sad wise-ass here but this is the question: would you rather have to carry around a sack of rocks all day, so all your muscles and bones hurt, OR walk along in relative comfort but never knowing when a load of rocks might come crashing down on top of you, sending you to the ground in agony?
I feel like I'm in one or the other condition all the time. Either I'm in pain, or I'm not and I know I will be again before long. Yesterday when I went for a run I had that endorphin high for a few minutes and then I came inside and began to cry... the fresh air felt so good but my baby Andrew (haha big smelly man) is gone and won't be coming through that door ever ever ever again.

The landslide has tumbled down and swallowed up my \"before\" life....its fragments still embedded into my heart.....but like all things foreign to this body, those fragments will expel in time but the scar will always stay as a sign of the biggest catastrophe ever~ never to be forgotten......I think that is how it works.....or has for me the last 20 months. I\'m like Danette....\"I love sad wise-ass people!\" Much love to you.......dale, brandon\'s mom
You are going through it, Sarah, and feeling all the feelings. Just needing you to know that I\'m with you, whether it\'s that pebble in your shoe that\'s bugging the you know what out of you or the boulders that come crashing down... it\'s all there and I have to look to the moms that are a few steps further along to know that healing, change and integrating this loss into our lives is happening. Even on those days when nothing feels different our cells are rearranging themselves in some way. Hope is ours even on the darkest of days and my vote is: \"No rocks period!\" Guess that wasn\'t one of the choices, was it? Love to you. Joanie
My heart is with you in this pain. Love and hugs, Julia
