A little annoying

I got a new sleep med I take it around 11 pm because thats when I get home Ill try and try to sleep Ill look at my phone and it's 230 in the morning. On top of that Seroquel makes you gain weight. So back to the drawing board I guess I'm going to try CBD gummies again. Also I'm going to try and unconventional medication for depression I'm sick of taking pills and if I don't ever have to have pills ever again that would be great. Mind Bloom seems good and I've watched a video put out on Nova about psilocybin. I'm also going to take prevagen to help memory. Here's to a new start cheers!

Please be careful with your meds.
A regularity to your mood and sleep is often demolished by sudden changes. It takes a while to find what is right for you and I hope you can continue to keep your schedule with taking your meds and going to sleep at the same time every day.. Maybe you can experiment and find things you can do every night additionally that help you fall asleep. For me it’s usually a small snack and writing a journal. I use these no matter what mood or in or how different I feel, it’s like I know clinically it works for me. Sending peace and good wishes to you.

Hey there! Sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I know how frustrating that can be! I got locked into a solid circadian rhythm and fall asleep quickly. But i have suffered from insomnia a lot before. Are the unconventional methods for treatment that you're planning under the supervision of a medical dr? Please be careful! For me, a psychedelic like psilocybin wouldn't be a smart idea since it can trigger psychosis. I once looked into prevagen since I have trouble with cognition, but found it lacked clinical evidence it works. Plus it's expensive. And it's suppose to take at least 90 days before any results are expected. There's also some side effects with it . I would check with your dr on that too. What ever you choose to do I hope it works. Take care!

I'm sorry you've been dealing with insomnia. Have you ever tried L-Theanine? It's an amino acid found primarily in green and black tea, and you can buy it at most health food stores. Personally, I found the NOW brand to be effective, but there are many others. You can find some general information about L-Theanine here:

In one NIH study, psilocybin was shown to cause insomnia and anxiety, and induce mania. While some researchers believe it may be proven effective in helping treat schizoaffective disorder, all agree that more studies are needed to determine whether the benefits outweigh the risks. I'd encourage you to be extremely cautious, and consider whether there are other, safer options you haven't tried.

Apart from meds/supplements, what relaxation techniques do you use?

I hope you find something that works for you!
