A busy but good day

Well I saw both my pdoc and my doc today. It was great. My pdoc showed me how she uses and helped me follow my mood charts. I gave her the new one from Lamictal.com and she was overjoyed a whole kit for a years worth of graphong including instructions. She tried to let me know how many people She has been able to help since I gave her those. While I was waiting to see her I was approached by one of the VA's other nurses who is doing a study on BP's and Heart desiese. They are seeing how good or bad a mentoring program can help lead to better healthstyles for active bp's. and I have a 50 - 50 chance of being in the study group or the control group. I hope I get the study group because I think it would be a lot of fun. They did fill me in with some information about how beepers tend to have problems with heart desiese and it can be caused by meds and mental state. After thinking about it all the bp's on depakote and stuff that makes them gain weight and who knows what else that effects muscels I am starting to see how my weight loss this past year is a great thing. I am adding a goal to my goal list to graph every day for thirty days all my vitals to include bp sugar mood and steps per day with the new pedomiter they gave me. I like the high tech stuff so I will have alot of fun with this goal since I computerize alot of my data. My regular doc was upset with my care for my feet I really should have showered and lotioned before I went in but that is part of my bp, hygiene. I am gonna try though. But she said they would give me a letter showing the need for the adjustable bed so I can write it off on my taxes. and she ordered me a new mask for my apnea machiene I hope it gets here before I go camping in july.She was happy with my bp and sugar and we are going to make a change in my prostrate med to a lower dose and see if it makes any difference. I have figured out how to get my power supply for my apnea machienes during camping I am going to get an inverter to turn my truck engine into a generator and supply 110v for my machiene. and I am going to buy a gps for my sis inlaw just to be nice they are going to kansas this summer and renting a car and will use it well there. Remmy is doing okay nuff said. well that is the fun stuff so nite nite ... tim
