Mother's Day

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well.  My Mother's Day was a little different this year.  I decided to take a bus trip to New York with some of my cousins. We left Friday night and was supposed to arrive at eight. Well our bus broke down four hours into the trip. About an hour outside of DC. Three and a half hours later a new bus showed and took us on to New York. It is an amazing place. I have been before (about 10 years ago) but this time I felt like I belonged. Our first stop was Central Park. We took a bicycle tour around part  of the park. Boy Josh really wanted me there. We came to the Strawberry Field trail. First of all Josh was a big John Lennon fan. As I was going up the trail there was a pair of shoes hanging from a tree branch. Sign number one.  Josh had thrown a pair of his shoes over a utility line in front of our house. Well John had a fit and they had to come down. He also did this at his best friends house and they are still there. Second sign, as we came to the end the trail there was an amazing Imagine Peace sign on the ground with a two figure peace sign inside. My Josh was saying Hey Mama. Thank dear Josh. So happy I took this trip. I was back home Sunday morning. John and I went to breakfast at McDonalds. Our waitress that waited on me gave me a flower. Didn't say Happy Mother's day. Just handed it to me And smiled. I was the only bone there that had a flower. No one else had one. I think this was Josh again. He was a busy fellow this weekend and I am happy he was.
Thank you Josh for saying Hello to me this weekend. Love you and miss you.

With the exception of the bus breaking down, it sounds like a wonderful trip and Mothers Day!

That Josh!!! He sure did make his presence known! Love the signs and the LOVE he continues to send your way. THANKS JOSH!

I love NYC too! I met Roger\'s cousin there a few years ago and it was amazing! We stayed at the Marriott Marquis and our room overlooked that huge screen in Times Square you always see in the movies. It was quiet a view! I even rode the subway all by myself!! Everyone was very nice and helpful....not the stereotype I\'d seen on TV or heard about. I too felt very much like I belonged.

Glad the trip was so enjoyable and most of all, so happy Josh showed up!

Love you dear friend and I\'ll be seeing you soon!

What an amazing Mother\'s Day and filled with winks from your Josh. :) My dad lives in NYC about half of the year and on Long Island the other half. My late brother has a bench with his name on it over at the sailing pond and it brings a lot of peace to my dad to have a place to go and sit to ponder.

Grateful you had this experience and my sis and I go yearly and pretend we are \"city girls\" for a few days and then I\'m so grateful to coming home and being one of the Beverly Hillbillies. LOL!

Thanks for sharing your Josh moments dearest Rhonda and you were really popping around in my heart yesterday and then here is this beautiful journal. I love the inner connectedness that I feel here with my sisters of the heart.

Love YOU!
XO Joanie

Love those winks from Josh.

What a wonderful way to spend a weekend.
My husband and I are both from New York, born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, and I want to go back for a visit so badly but my husband won\'t go and I don\'t want to go alone. Maybe I\'ll go with some of granddaughters when they get a little older, that would be so much fun.

Tight hugs,
Terry

I am so happy that you had a good trip (except for the bus part but even that leaves you with stories to tell). I actually saw your picture before I read this and saw the John Lennon overtones...the glasses, the strawberries and \"Imagine\". Love to you.
