We had a meeting with the doctor this morning and it wasn't good. My dad hasn't improved in the past three days. All hope for him making it out of this alive is gone. They are making him as comfortable as possible and making sure he isn't in any pain. All we have left to do is wait for death to come for him. Doctor thinks it will be 24 to 48hrs, thats all my dad has left of this life and its killing me inside. I'm sad, angry and frustrated all at once. This has been and will be one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through and I only hope I am strong enough to be there for my mom and my brothers.

Pagan, you\'re right..it is one of the hardest things to do. I\'m going through this with my MIL, there is nothing left to do for her. So we wait.
Not sure of your beliefs but I will pray, ask the universe, send healing auras to you. Just remember you are not alone. Even though we can\'t take the pain away, we can comfort you nonetheless.
You\'ll get through this. I believe that beepers are stronger than your average person because we deal with trauma all of the time.

This would be a good time to tell your dad all the things you never said. How much you love him, how important he is to you..etc. Say it now before its too late. You\'ll feel much better for it.
