OK.  I made it through six hours at work today and only broke down crying once.  I'm so proud of myself for making it that long.  I'm also very grateful today for the time Gene and I had together.  We were so lucky to have such a wonderful love.  I was talking to a woman at work today who made me realize how lucky we were.  She says she will never know that kind of love because of the marriage she is in now.  How sad I feel for her.   Tonight is dinner night here.  My son (21) and his friends come over every Monday night for dinner.  My son and one of his friends are chefs, so they never take the time to cook for themselves.  Monday nights is the only home cooked meal they get and I get the gift of laughter from them. I'm feeling better today, thanks to the support I've received from everyone here.  It is comforting to know I'm not alone in this journey.
