It's been a trying day. I had the day off from work for Veteran's Day and have been trying to force my self to do SOMETHING other than lying around feeling anxious and depressed. I managed to get my butt up and clean out my car, order some Christmas gifts for my son, go through some paperwork and do some filing. I just never feel like I do enough, cause there is so much to do! Then I get in my funk and everything starts piling up and makes me feel even worse. I am looking for alternative therapies for dealing with menopause and reading as much as I can on the subject. I never thought I'd be where I am right now in my life. Up until three years ago, I was confident, secure with who I was, knew what I wanted, happy, laid back and loving life. Now I feel useless, irritable, insecure and unlovable. But I'm working on getting back to where I was. I am accepting that fact that I miss my son like crazy since he's moved out and that there is a light at the end. I can feel it inside, I just need to work harder to get there. My husband has been so supportive, even when I'm at my worse. He tries so hard to get me out and I never want to go anywhere. I've lost interest in so many things I used to love--riding on the motorcycle, gardening, crafting. My gardens look like heck and I think we went riding once this summer. I haven't given up though, I'll fight through this and come out better for it on the other side.
