Wow, I can't believe it has been so long since I've written in my journal.  I try to get on and check up on everyone, but it's been a busy couple of weeks.  My mom is on her own again, and this time I don't think her better half is coming back.  It's just as well.  He's an alcoholic who is getting progressively worse.  I know my mom misses him, but she is doing very well.  It has put more responsibility on me as she can't vacuum, take out her trash, drive or change her own sheets, so I've been taking her grocery shopping and stopping on my way home to take care of her chores, as well as my own.  I've also been very busy at work.  My son started back at college and my husband has a race coming up this weekend, so "hectic" is a good word for how it's been around here.  Summer is always busy with the gardening and lawn work and I'm so looking forward to the more laid back days of fall and winter.  The weather has been absolutely beautiful here.  Cool nights, great for sleeping but the days are getting shorter and it will take some time for me to adjust. Anyway, just checking in.  Hope you all have a great evening!
