I'm going to get my journal entry in early today, so I can accomplish something around the house today. I'm doing well and have only experienced minor cravings this past week. I really do not want to smoke. I'm quite amazed by this because I really never thought I could do this. I have set many dates to quit before, and have just let them pass by. My best friend who I've known for 30 years, reminded me that each time she would mention my smoking I would say, Oh, I'm going to quit, that was my mantra. Now I've done it! So, anyone out there that thinks they can't, you can. You just have to want it bad enough, and that is hard if you enjoy smoking. Don't give up. "The greatest discovery is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind", by William James.

UGH FallenAngel.........(kidding)!! I\'m happy for you! I go thru these mood swings both physically and mentally and feel I need that cig. but have refused to do it.
I\'m chewing gum right now. It\'s either do it this time or just keep on smoking. I\'m tired of trying to quit.
It\'s day 9 and I\'m glad I\'m not smoking in a whole bunch of ways!! But what to do when you feel you \"really need it\". I\'m angry, hurt and depressed right now and thats the time I need those cigs..........

Help....I think
