1st Day out
Today went well. It was odd not going to Reflections, and to be quite honest, I missed it.
I really miss Lydia. She came in about 1 1/2 weeks ago to the program and I took her in under my wing. She is just 13, and the sweetest little thing I have ever met. I did not want to let go of her when I left last night. And today I could not stop thinking about her :( I did write her an email just now as well as I sent her a card in the mail earlier today already too.
Was able to follow my meal plan...lunch was pushed later in the day so I ended up moving my second snack before lunch. I am missing a fruit and 3 fat exchanges I believe. Fats have been really hard for me to add in today. AHH. Not because I don't want to, but because there was nothing for me to really put added fats on!
Spent a lot of time with my good friend Kimmie! And last night a spent a lot of time with my friend Blair!
xx

that is so sweet you have taken lydia under you care and support, what a lucky young girl. about the fat exchages, how did you apply them in the meal plan before? or is it that thier is nothing home to put it on? you are doing so well, many curves ahead im sure, but i know you will fight them. hugss
It\'s always so tough leaving certain people behind isn\'t it. They become family or even better than family. The best thing to do is to stay in contact with only those who stay in recovery. That might sound harsh but it is your best chance. Kudos on staying on plan. I have to juggle meals and snacks around too. In real live thing aren\'t working as clockwork. And as long as you get the stuff in it doesn\'t matter when. Do you like peanutbutter. I love it and it\'s my easiest way to have my fats. Or 2% counts as a fat. Full milk is 2 fats. Or how about strawberries with whip creme. That way you get both.
Thanks for the ideas Karin! Yes there are 3 people that I plan to keep in touch with who are recovery oriented. the others I would rather toss out on the street!
Same with from last Fall...Out of all of them people I met, there are 2 I keep in touch with. Fuck the rest!
