well, I weighed myself again last night at susans and I don't believe I have gained anything back, I am eating more, not a lot but that should show I would think. I am actually at the point of not really caring, almost. I had a male customer that I used to wait on in the deli when I was in the deli at this store and he said to me you are to skinny, gain some weight. he is the first one to say that I don't look good, all my other customers say how good I look. another woman who I had become friendly with saw me and said it appeared I had lost more weight, she started to say I looked good but I said nyes and I have to gain some. my therapist told me to be careful who I tell people I am anorexic, some people will act differently around you, stop talking with you, has anyone had this happen and do you tell people?
I got my hours to be the regular 7 1/2 hours today as aperently someone called in at night and Damien, grocery manager said I could stay later, it had better be that way, no changes to schedule unless okayed by management, store manager. im just going to do it. I wont be able to have them add my 8 hours of vacation this week, it is to late, so next week. I have OSHA courses online that I have to do so I will do them Friday after my big 4 hour shift. this has all made me so nervous, confused and scared. I am, rather my niece rachael, is going to apply to a bunch of jobs at the local hospital for me tmw, you can apply for 10 at a time, she is so sweet.
thanksgiving will as usual be stressful, susan is having it and it is always filled with tension there and this year it will be worse with my mother. just breath, walk out f have to, I am bringing nala so I can talkher for a walk.
all for now, must go in to my wonderful job and all the crazy last minute shoppers.

It\'s true that some people will treat you differently if you reveal that you have an eating disorder. Personally, I haven\'t shared my BED diagnosis with anyone other than my hubby, you, and a couple of other close friends. However, I\'m not really worried about being treated differently. True friends and quality people will stick by you, no matter what.
I\'m sorry that you\'re dealing with so much stress at your job...and now even more stress with Thanksgiving tomorrow. Please remember to take care of yourself and excuse yourself for some walks with Nala when you need a break. I\'m confident that you\'re going to be OK. You\'re one strong lady...stronger than you may feel! Love and hugs, Judy
It may take a little while for you to gain anything back. If your blood levels were off by enough, your body may have been using the added food to maintain the weight you do have...I\'ll message you later today. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, in case I don\'t get on tomorrow :)
I guess its good that that one customer was concerned for you. Telling other people about your eating disorder is a big step and it may cause people to relate to you differently. I have told very few people because my eating disorder years were so long and tragic and Ive moved on. I dont want other people relating to me as though I were still thin and fragile. I guess it might be easier to tell someone with whom you dont have to be in touch regularly as opposed to, for example a colleague, who sees you every working day. But were all different. I think everyone has to figure out for her/himself who to share these things with.
Glad youre taking Nala with you for Thanksgiving! Im sure shell also appreciate getting out for walkies every so often!
*hugs* I am not afraid of telling people about my diagnoses. If they can\'t handle knowing I am bipolar and more, then they can\'t handle being my friend. It\'s fine when everything is good, but then you go through a rough phase and they don\'t know what to do. I find that most of my friends have some sort of mental illness or another. We understand each other and can relate. That way there\'s no embarrassment or judging. I hope you have a happy thanksgiving and do your best to eat! *hugs*
thanks everyone and i have only shared with a few close friends at work about my eating disorder. i shared it with a former customer, an elderly woman who commented on how good i look and it just sort of came out. i need to be more careful. i am going to be applying for jobs today with m niece and hopefully someone from above, be it peter or god will help out here. i know i will eat turkey and i am bringing a big salad so i will be fine. hugs and happy thanksgiving all
Different people have different ideas about how a persons body should and I doubt the commenters meant any harm
How do you feel physically. If you have fairly good energy and stamina you might be on the right track.
Changing our bodies takes a lot of patience and time whether trying to gain or lose
Beating yourself because you have not gained yet prolly not helpful
